About Joy Wilson
Joy Wilson is a large-scale narrative painter. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Joy weaves sculptural stories and still life imagery of nature and flowers to tell a story of memory and time. Drawing upon the natural beauty of Kentucky, Joy's current floral series explores how these roots create beauty in and from the busy streets of Chicago. Joy is developing a series grounded in these organic images and thought processes.
